Last week we cooked toast and muffins and cut them into halves, quarters and thirds. I was very impressed at their knowledge of fractions and it was the perfect activity for a cold day!
This term we are lucky enough to be having singing lessons with Mr Cullen, a very talented and entertaining music teacher from Moruya High School. We are learning the song Food, Glorious Food from the musical Oliver. A performance will be coming up soon!
Last Friday we had a great time at the Junior Athletics Carnival. After marching, the students participated in high jump, long jump, sprints, relays, throwing events and Earth ball. The weather was beautiful and a fun time was had by all.
